Adjacent to the old Gilroy City Hall is Gilroy's first and original Hotel.  Designed and built in 1923 with a relatively new material called reinforced poured concrete and ordained with iconic details and scrolls both at the exterior and interior.  BDS was engaged to redesign the entry to the old Hotel as a former seismic retrofit in the mid 1980's destroyed the entire exterior.  BDS continues to work with the building owner to finsh the design and new entry details.   The pictures below show the types of detail I'm try to save and restore as part of the final design and restoration.
