BDS uses the latest version of AutoCAD for the design and drawing of all plans and details.  Our consultants also use AutoCAD so we can exchange files and information.

BDS uses EnergyPro for both Residential and Commercial Title 24 Energy Calculations and energy certifications. 

When designing with wind and photovoltiac energy BDS uses eQuest as a design manager, energy estimator and energy calculator.

BDS uses 'passive house' approach as opposed to passive solar using heat transfer. We use HEED and Climate Consultant to control the design factors.

We use both MEANS estimator and National Estimator for estimating construction costs.
